This is Danielle’s 1st time really learning and spending time on the Snatch.  Great job, Danielle!  A little early in your shrug in the 2nd photo, but great extension and nice job keeping the bar in close!

Lindsey is a strong Olympic Weightlifter.  She does a great job keeping the bar close, is powerful in her shrug and hip extension, and has a solid bottom position in the catch.  Nice work, Lindsey!

Not sure how in the world this has happened, but today was Isabelle’s first time learning how to Snatch.  Not only is she buff, tough, beautiful, and funny, but it turns out she is incredibly quick too.  She picked up the Snatch in minutes and was throwing weight over her head like she’d been doing it for the entire 2 years she has been doing CrossFit!

I read a post written by Kurtis and Laurie, Rainier CrossFit, today that perfectly echoed how I feel about these women and all the women who train with us at CrossFit Flagstaff.  Read You Gotta Want This, and you will hear my voice speaking those words about you.

  1. Strong work ladies! and to everyone who snatched.
And Lisa, thanks for the article from Rainer CrossFit. Thank you for the poking, prodding and pushing us to get better. If we didn’t have such great knowledge from you and Mike as coaches we wouldn’t be half as strong as we all are. You insist that we have perfect form and virtuosity in all that we do at CrossFit.
