If you are unable to complete all the reps inside of the 2-minutes decrease the weight of the clean.

    My workout ended up looking like this:
    Round 1: 1:35, 3 consecutive MU, 155#
    Round 2: 2:25, 3 consecutive MU, 155#
    Round 3: Skipped
    Round 4: 1:30, 3 consecutive MU, 135#
    Round 5: 1:47, 2/1 MU, 135#
    Round 6: Skipped
    Round 7: 1:28, 3 consecutive MU, 135#
    Round 8: 1:50, 2/1 MU, 135#
    Round 9: Skipped
    Round 10: 1:46, 2/1 MU, 135#
    After having to skip the third round, I felt lame. I continued on with the workout at a lighter weight, and a thought occurred to me: this just might be the perfect workout to learn how to “game”. I’ve royally lost on a few competition workouts because I didn’t recognize that gaming could end up giving me a better score. I recognize that I’m not a beast and won’t always be able to complete the whole workout; when that occurs, what is my backup plan?

  6. Resting a couple of days. Back was really hurting yesterday, riding in the car from Telluride.
    Went to Phoenix with Tara and took photos of Ragnar and Tough Mudder teams!
